DeSoto County vape shop owners are overhauling their inventory and clearing shelves of many products following the passage of House Bill 916 earlier this year.
This Mississippi legislation establishes a strict state directory for cigarettes and Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS).
The bill, introduced by Rep. Trey Lamar, R-Senatobia, mandates that only products listed on a specific Department of Revenue directory can be sold in Mississippi. The law took full effect on Oct. 1.
