Rudolf, Annie, Scrooge and the Grinch star in shows across Memphis this December. Catch these family favorites before the curtain falls.

Gather the kids or the kids at heart and head down to The Orpheum for “Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical.” The show is a stage adaptation of the beloved 1957 book by Dr. Seuss and features familiar songs from the original animated series like “You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas.” The stage show has sets and costumes inspired by the original illustrations.

The musical follows the Grinch, a bitter recluse whose heart is “two sizes too small” who tries to ruin Christmas for the cheerful Whos of Whoville. The Grinch discovers the holiday is about community and love rather than presents.

“How the Grinch Stole Christmas” runs Dec. 16-21 at The Orpheum Theatre in Downtown Memphis. Tickets and more information are available here.
