Bartlett’s basketball team has logged plenty of miles in the preseason, testing itself against some of the top competition Tennessee — and the nation — has to offer.

Shelby County, however, will always be a different animal and Tuesday’s visit to Houston was no different.

The Mustangs are a formidable squad themselves and entered the district matchup with a ton of confidence, having defeated the Panthers in the last meeting between the two, the title game of last season’s district tournament.
