What to watch when Memphis faces Florida Atlantic on the road

Despite a 2-0 start to American Conference play and a three-game winning streak overall, Memphis’ performances over the past few weeks have been far from convincing.

Coach Penny Hardaway has said he’s simply happy that his team is winning after a 4-7 start through one of the country’s most difficult nonconference schedules.

A matchup against the Florida Atlantic Owls (10-6, 2-1 American) on Sunday (noon CT, ESPN2) in Boca Raton, Florida, offers another opportunity to work toward that.
