Once weighing whether to leave, new CBU president tasked with saving school that shaped his life

Last spring, the future of Christian Brothers University was looking so dire that longtime vice president Ronald Brandon was actively considering other jobs.
It wasn’t something he wanted to do, as Brandon has a deep loyalty to the school he graduated from in 1999 with an accounting degree.
But he has a family with a son in college and he had to consider the future, one where CBU might not exist anymore.
