The AM/DM podcast: It’s ‘snow fun’ this weekend

This weekend everything seems up in the air, whether it’s sleet, snow or that event you’ve been wanting to attend.
But the show must go on. That’s the pledge of Opera Memphis and its performances of “The Barber of Seville” at the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center. Except if the University of Memphis campus, where the Scheidt is located, closes.
A new film festival, brought to us by the storytellers at Spillit, is at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library on Saturday, with plenty of documentary action.
And “Jagged Little Pill,” which uses the music from the 1995 Alanis Morissette album of the same name, opens Friday at Playhouse on the Square.
Newsletter editor Bianca Phillips joins us this morning to talk about all the fun on the calendar.
One note. At press time, these events were still happening, but please double-check before you go, as some cancellations could occur.
