She never mentioned his name once, but former Vice President Kamala Harris still made clear her distaste for the current occupant of the White House in the Memphis stop on her national book tour Thursday night.

In a virtually sold-out conversation before about 2,250 people at the Orpheum Theatre, Harris called the administration of President Donald Trump “callous, corrupt and incompetent.”

She was just getting started, pantomiming at one point that the administration was distracting Americans with showy displays with one hand while putting the other hand in the taxpayer’s pocket.
