With winter weather predicted for the weekend, Mid-South grocery stores are already feeling the effects.
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, grocery store parking lots were busy, shelves were picked over and checkout lines were backed up down the aisles. Eggs, bread and milk were already scarce.
At the Memphis Cash Saver on Elvis Presley Boulevard, employees were doing their best to keep up with demand.
