Memphis baseball coach Matt Riser perfectly summed up what the diamond at FedExPark, home of the Tigers, looked like Thursday.
“It’s a white blanket out there right now,” he said, referring to the snow and ice covering the turf field.
The snowstorm that rocked the city of Memphis starting last Saturday has forced Memphis baseball and other Tigers sports teams to get creative when trying to complete workouts and practices.
