Helping solve a global pilot shortage: Tennessee Flight Training expands to Millington

When Chris Erlanson first started a flight-training company about 16 years ago, he saw his company as a chance to help people statewide learn how to fly.
Now, as the program recently expanded to Millington-Memphis Airport, Erlanson sees the mission as even more important.
βExperts between Boeing and Airbus, it depends on who you ask,Β (say)Β thereβs a shortage of about 640,000 pilots over the next 20 years,β he said.Β βAnd so for us as a company, our goal is to be part of solving the pilot shortage.β
