Tennessee moves forward with act to ban ‘West Bank’ term

NASHVILLE — After an hour of impassioned testimony, the House Judiciary Committee voted Wednesday, March 4, to send the controversial Recognizing Judea and Samaria Act forward in the Tennessee Legislature.
The act directs the state not to use the term West Bank in any official documents or communication and instead refer to the area as Judea and Samaria.
