Rose Foundation and living-wage backers on ‘common ground’ in swim facility debate

Gabrielle Rose is executive director of the Rose Foundation, founded in 1990 by her father, Mike Rose. She is a mother and a two-time Olympian in swimming. She graduated from St. Mary's Episcopal School and earned her bachelor's degree and master's in business administration from Stanford University.

Morgan D. Rose

Morgan D. Rose is treasurer of the Rose Foundation. He is president of Madrone Investments, a private investment firm headquartered in Memphis. He is a graduate of Memphis University School and the University of Colorado at Boulder.

The Mike Rose Natatorium is a bold initiative in which University of Memphis students are far from the primary beneficiaries. People who will benefit include at-risk children who might not otherwise learn to swim, competitive youth swimming and water polo teams, and community members who pay a fee to exercise in the pool.
