Is meeting people in real life back?

Last year, Greyson Edwards’s two-year relationship ended. He wanted to get back out there, but he was tired of dating apps.

Edwards, 24, sells vintage clothes and works as a part-time bartender. Even so, he found opportunities to meet new people in person lacking. 

He’s not alone in his search for places to meet new people. Google search queries for “how to make friends,” “where to meet people” and “third place” — a social place outside home and work where people spend time — are at all-time highs this year, according to Google Trends.
