If there are new maps, what are Cohen, Kustoff and Pearson going to do?

The newly proposed Tennessee congressional map changes the home districts for one of the area’s sitting congressmen and could open opportunities for other local politicians. 

At least one local elected official hinted at what they might consider if the new map passes. 

When the Tennessee General Assembly acts on a new congressional map this week, the focus of a special session on redistricting that started Tuesday, it will likely see legal challenges. If the new map withstands the challenges within the legal deadlines for this year’s election, it raises the question of what sitting elected officials and others will do.
