Reflecting on Brandon Clarke, whose unlikely rise ended too soon

The day before his 29th birthday, a Memphis Grizzlies forward delivered a check to a class full of second graders. “I tried to make sure everyone got a high-five or a hug.” That was Brandon Clarke.
