‘A changing of the guard in Midtown:’ Cooper-Young landmark sells

An anonymous local company has bought a highly visible retail property in Cooper-Young with plans for a new restaurant in one of Memphis’ most historic neighborhoods.

James Rasberry sold a multiple-tenant building along Cooper Street to 936 Cooper LLC for $1.45 million. The property has bays at 936, 940, 942 and 944 S. Cooper St. and an adjacent parking lot.
