Daily Jigsaw: A Tuscan classic
After six years without opening any new restaurants, local restaurateurs and chefs Andrew Ticer and Michael Hudman will soft-launch their newest concept, Josephine Estelle, later this month.
Enjoy A|M Restaurant Group’s newest Italian-American restaurant is a two-story spot named after Hudman’s and Ticer’s daughters and will officially open in early June. The restaurant is part of The Standard Germantown development, located at 6695 Poplar Ave., on what used to be the Carrefour by Kirby Woods site.
In addition to the ground-floor restaurant, Josephine Estelle will have a cocktail bar called Rosie’s Tavern on its second floor. This space is named after the daughter of Benjamin Orgel, who is a member of The Standard’s development team.
