The University of Memphis Board of Trustees on Wednesday, June 3, approved a tuition increase for all students, approved a $100,000 performance bonus for President Bill Hardgrave and heard details about department consolidations.
The tuition increases, which will affect undergraduate, graduate and law students, range from 2.2% to 4.48% and will go in effect for the fall 2026 semester.
The annual performance review is part of Hardgrave’s contract, and the bonus is deferred compensation due at the end of that contract.
