Memphis coach Charles Huff in favor of new proposed eligibility model
“I think it’s going to be good,” said University of Memphis head football coach Charles Huff about a potential college sports eligibility model change. “There’s going to be some road bumps. We understand that. There’s going to be some lawsuits. That’s part of the world we live in. But I think, for the overall good of the sport, it’s going to be good.” (Greg Campbell/Special to The Daily Memphian file)
A new age-based model could be voted on as early as this month. If implemented, a player would have a five-year clock to compete for up to five seasons.
