Four local teens will train in New York, perform at Carnegie Hall and then go on international tours this summer.

They’re also all members of the Memphis Youth Symphony.

Two hundred and eight teen instrumentalists have been named to Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA), NYO2 and NYO Jazz.

The 89 members of NYO2 are ages 14 to 16; the 97 members of NYO-USA are ages 16 to 19; the 22 members of NYO Jazz are ages 16 to 19.

Levi Lei, a cellist from Germantown, will be part of the NYO2 2026.

Jack Feng, a violinist from Memphis; Myles Martin, a violist from Germantown and Ella Liu, a flutist from Collierville, will all be part of the NYO-USA 2026.
