Mahaffey pitching its tent in Southeast Memphis

Mahaffey Tent and Event Rentals is relocating its operations to Southeast Memphis after buying office and warehouse buildings from another company with a long local history.
Operating as Beach House Investments II LLC, the party equipment rental company bought a 10.1-acre property at 4505 Old Lamar Ave. for $3.8 million from Bryce Corp.
The site has 100,000-square-foot warehouse and a separate two-story, 30,000-square-foot office building.
