The AM/DM podcast: Tennessee’s newest laws
The 114th session of the Tennessee General Assembly reconvened this past January with some very high-profile bills on its agenda. The state takeover of Memphis-Shelby County Schools was one. Others involved immigration, charitable bail funds and even airport boards.
But other bills flew under the radar, were enacted and went into effect on July 1.
Today, Brandon LaGrone joins us to talk about some of new bills, especially ones that center on public safety, education and tech.
