Memphis logistics leaders navigate most complex tariffs yet

Mary Arno and her colleagues have been much busier in recent weeks.
That’s because on July 24, the latest round of tariffs from President Donald Trump’s administration took effect — causing massive ripple effects through the trade industry, especially for a city with as much supply and logistics activity as Memphis, Arno and others said.
“The times that we are living in now, as far as being a licensed customs broker, and being in trade in general, no one’s ever seen anything like what we’ve been going through,” Arno said.
