Former airport-area Holiday Inn to be renovated, reopened

A former airport-area hotel that shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic could soon be reopened as a Fairfield Inn & Suites.
Property owner Rajeev Chauhan plans to reopen a vacant, 110-room hotel at 2736 Nonconnah Blvd., he said in a phone call this week with The Daily Memphian.
The 3.5-acre property was sold in 2025 by Florida limited liability companies 2240 Democrat Road LLC and 2736 S. Nonconnah Boulevard LLC.
