She quit her job and shaved her head. Now, the era of indie rocker Keer is here.

This year, Keerthana Manoj has quit her job, gone on tour, shaved her head and now, she has released her debut EP.
Under her stage name Keer, Manoj dropped her EP, “Something of that Nature,” on Thursday, Sept. 10, with an immersive party at Ugly Art Co.
She will also represent her hometown as part of the Music Export Memphis showcase at the annual Americanafest in Nashville on Thursday, Sept. 17.
But this wasn’t always the track for Manoj. In fact, just a few years ago, she was a University of Alabama graduate working as a copywriter.
