A former drummer in Central High’s award-winning jazz band finds his own beat

Kyan Ramsay, an intern with The Daily Memphian, was born and raised in Memphis. He is a senior at Yale University, studying political science. He has interned on Capitol Hill, at the Federal Public Defender’s Office and at Shelby County Circuit Court. He currently writes for the Yale Herald and for BRINK magazine at Yale.
