Memphis airport hires event planner Cynthia Daniels & Co. to deck the halls
Memphis International Airport’s board voted Thursday to hire Cynthia Daniels & Co to decorate the airport for holidays, promotions, artistic projections and special events.
The event planning firm submitted the sole response to a request for qualifications.
Airport president Scott Brockman said it’s an opportunity to refresh the airport’s holiday decorations while freeing up airport employees for more important duties.
The airport has a budget of up to $50,000 for the decorating activities, chief financial officer Forrest Artz said.
