The four candidates for Bartlett mayor made their final campaign stances this week at a forum.
The latest campaign disclosures show Alderman David Parsons has the most money in the four-candidate race for Bartlett mayor.
Brent Hammonds, David Parsons and Kevin Quinn discussed their qualifications and what they see as the priorities for the suburb improving. The fourth candidate — John Lackey — did not participate.
Bobby Simmons has decided not to run for mayor of Bartlett as more candidates emerge for the three alderman seats on the Nov. 8 ballot.
While political candidates are required to file financial disclosure documents as part of their campaigns, several have missed deadlines, including in Bartlett.
“Blue Oval City is really what changed my mind entirely, because that’s a real make-or-break for the future of Bartlett,” said alderman Kevin Quinn.
With longtime Mayor A. Keith McDonald stepping down this year, two alderman and a Bartlett police officer have announced they will seek the suburb’s top elected office.
