Two Collierville residents are seeking the Republican nomination for an open position on the suburb’s school board as incumbent Wanda Chism declines to run for reelection.

Two Collierville residents are seeking the Republican nomination for an open position on the suburb’s school board as incumbent Wanda Chism declines to run for reelection.
“When you look at the board and how it’s made up,” said Jason Morrison, “I thought it would be nice to have some new blood in there and some differing perspectives.”
Rachel Davis moved to Collierville because keeping her kids in the district was important. Now she’s seeking election to the suburb’s Board of Education.
“It’s time, and I’m very happy with my decision. I have no regrets,” Chism said.
Collierville Schools board members Wanda Chism and Frank Warren are seeking reelection. Election Day is Nov. 8.
