Tim McCarver, who died Thursday at age 81, was a three-sport star at Christian Brothers, a World Series hero for the St. Louis Cardinals, and a Baseball Hall-of-Fame inductee as a broadcaster.
McCarver, a CBHS graduate, who became an All-Star catcher and World Series champion for the St. Louis Cardinals and a Hall of Fame Major League Baseball broadcaster, died Thursday, Feb. 16.
