Local kids’ magazine JabberBlabber publishes last issue

Back in 2001, when Theresa Andreuccetti and Nikki Schroeder were trying to decide on a name for their new kids’ magazine, they considered The Big Back Yard, The Purple Caterpillar, The Green Beetle and, in perhaps the dullest inclusion on the list, Mid-South Kids.

Instead, in a fit of inspiration she can’t quite explain, Andreuccetti hit on JabberBlabber one night, and the nonsensical alliteration just worked. JabberBlabber it was, and JabberBlabber it would be for the next 2½ decades.
