At GiveCamp, ‘a bunch of nerds’ supply tech support to nonprofits
Bryce Sharp sits in a Midtown garden on Dec. 23, 2019, one of the stops on the Cooper-Young Garden Walk. Sharp is a volunteer for GiveCamp, a small coalition of web designers and coders that helps nonprofits, like the Cooper-Young Garden Club, with tech support. (Patrick Lantrip/Daily Memphian)
Ten to 12 nonprofits find help each year at GiveCamp from tech community volunteers who range from University of Memphis students to employees at Fortune 500 companies.
