The lineup for the Tri-State Blues Festival’s 20th anniversary includes J-Wonn, Bobby Rush, Tucka, King George, Chick Rodgers and more.

In an email to its barbecue teams, Memphis in May President Jim Holt says the festival is “exploring venue options other than Tom Lee Park for the future.”

This year, Elvis Week festivities will include music, panels, contests, screenings and ceremonies celebrating the lives of Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley.

The entertainment lineup surrounding the 34th Southern Heritage Classic has been released.

FedExForum announces a new date for “Drake: It’s All A Blur Tour” with 21 Savage, which was set for Thursday, June 29.

“I embraced the concept, ‘I love my job’,” he said. “You gotta love what you do.”

A 7-CD box set brings together 146 demos from the legendary label, including 140 previously unreleased recordings.

Sprite’s latest campaign honors the 50th anniversary of hip-hop and includes Memphis rapper Gloria “GloRilla” Woods. 

As late as the spring of 2022, a letter was filed with the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, indicating a plan to build a Hard Rock Hotel at 326 Beale St.

Another Memphis in May International Festival is in the books, and most of the Daily Memphian readers who responded to a social media poll were happy with the return to the river.
