Virginia Reed Murphy talks about her work with the passion of an actress and the meticulous desire to help people that the best therapists possess.

Murphy, who is the founder of Everystory (formerly known as Playback Memphis), joined me on this week’s episode of “The Sidebar” to talk about the organization’s 18-year history, its evolution and its future. Using theater, improvisation and the performance, Everystory engages everyone from students to at-risk youth to businesspeople to express themselves and analyze challenges.

Note: WYXR is a partnership between Crosstown Concourse, the University of Memphis and The Daily Memphian. As part of that partnership, I serve on the board of Crosstown Radio Partnership, which owns and oversees WYXR.
