The Metal Museum at 40
Lewis Body, a former blacksmith apprentice for the museum, opened his own shop near Presidents Island last year. Body's work ranges from large-scale public sculpture to custom architectural design work for both local and out-of-state clients. (Houston Cofield/Daily Memphian)
This week, the Metal Museum turned 40. The institution has grown over the years and has plans for even more growth.
