Arrow Creative closing; Brooks Museum to absorb programs

Arrow Creative will soon shut its doors, and Memphis Brooks Museum of Art will absorb some of its programming.
Arrow Creative plans to cease operations after its Holiday Bazaar on Dec. 22 and will complete the transition “in the coming months,” according to a draft press release. An official schedule of programming updates will be announced early next year.

According to an email Arrow co-founder Abby Phillips sent to the organization’s tenants and studio artists on Monday, Dec. 2, its building at 653 Philadelphia St. in the Cooper-Young neighborhood will officially close its doors Dec. 31.
