For mother and daughter Marion Malone and Alicja Trout, watercolor painting has become more than a creative outlet — it is a shared language, a bridge between generations and a way to capture the beauty of solitude and nature.

Their exhibition, “New Works by Marion Malone and Alicja Trout,” is now on view at the Lois Estes Ruleman Gallery of Art at Church Health through April 28.
