Le Bonheur video game collaboration has kids jumping to exercise
Students at Memphis Grizzlies Preparatory Charter School did not have dedicated gym space, so Fit4Class enables up to 30 students to exercise together in smaller spaces. The children follow on-screen characters to learn stationary exercises such as jump squats. A combination of cameras track students movements to correlate with on-screen characters. (Troy Glasgow)
An exercise physiologist at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital is working with a local virtual reality developer to get kids introduced to healthy practices, like exercise, early in life.
