Final public meeting on proposed Summer Avenue improvements held
In the current plan, intersections, like Summer and Graham (pictured), would receive crosswalks, and protected bike lanes would be placed on the sides of the street between National and White Station. (Courtesy Bradyn Carson/file)
The 5.5 mile section on the main thoroughfare may soon become a “complete” or multimodal street that is safer for everyone, including drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists. The improvements may also attract new businesses and people to the area.
