New York-based firm could invest $112.5M in former Nike facility
New York-based investment firm MHR Fund Management LLC will go before the Economic Development Growth Engine for Memphis & Shelby County (EDGE) board Wednesday, Jan. 19, to request a tax incentive to buy and renovate the existing 817,000-square-foot warehouse at 8400 Winchester Road. According to a term sheet related from EDGE, Memphis would become home to three manufacturing lines running multiple shifts with capacity to annually produce approximately 22,500 containers and 30,000 chassis.
