Plans have been submitted to turn Parkview Apartments at 1914 Poplar Ave. into market-rate apartments. The senior living facility was built as a hotel/apartment building in 1923. (Neil Strebig/The Daily Memphian)

Plans for redevelopment of the senior-living residence, located at 1914 Poplar Ave., were filed on April 7. The building’s new owner says residents and staff were notified in January of plans.
