LITE Memphis’ Pitch Night is creating young entrepreneurs
Memphis-area students participate in a LITE Memphis Pitch Night at Christian Brothers University in 2018. Participants of the event presented business ventures for the chance to win cash prizes. The next pitch night will be held Thurday, June 2. (Submitted)
“Our core mission is about helping students have the ability to create wealth and one of the ways that we do that is through entrepreneurship,” Adrian Smith said. “Because we know that to be a successful entrepreneur, you have to possess a lot of 21st century skills that include communication, goal setting and problem-solving.”
