U of M sets fundraising record, officials say

Thanks in part to record donations to the University of Memphis athletics department, the school set a new record for overall fundraising this past fiscal year, officials said Thursday, July 24.

For the fiscal year, the school raised $64.9 million, officials said, an increase of more than $12 million over the previous record of $52.2 million set in 2022.
