First Tennessee Bank wins inaugural CX Leader award

First Tennessee Bank has garnered a new national award for its customer service.

The bank was one of five nationwide to be recognized in the inaugural Greenwich CX (Customer Experience) Leader awards by Greenwich Associates, a global provider of market intelligence and advisory services to the financial services industry.

First Tennessee, a division of Memphis-based First Horizon National Corp., garnered top honors in the U.S. Commercial Middle Market Banking and Small Business Banking categories.

The CX Leader award recognizes banks that score higher than the industry benchmark by a certain margin in overall satisfaction, likelihood to recommend and likelihood to continue using. First Tennessee was selected based on nearly 24,000 responses from decision-makers at U.S. small- and middle-market companies.

“Customer experience is a key component of our strategy as we pride ourselves on being agile and adaptable to deliver great service to our customers through personalized engagement and seamless banking across all channels,” Todd Jones, First Tennessee’s executive vice president of wholesale banking,” said in a release.

The CX Leader award isn’t the first honor Greenwich Associates has awarded First Tennessee. The bank says it’s been “consistently recognized” by Greenwich for its service and business practices, including receiving 23 national and regional Greenwich Excellence awards last year.
