Raymond James seeks $13M from former landlord

Raymond James and Associates Inc. has filed a lien against the Downtown office tower that used to bare its name, a move which could further complicate the building’s redevelopment.
The St. Petersburg, Florida-based financial services company is seeking more than $13 million from the owner of 50 N. Front St., formerly known as Raymond James Tower.
New York-based developer Jacob Sofer, operating as 50 N. Front Street LLC, owns the 336,483-square-foot Downtown office tower and has been working to redevelop it, most recently as apartments.
