CMA Wendy Kerley gives Ethan Getman, 15, a shot of the flu vaccine while inoculating the Getman family on Jan. 3, 2019, at the Cordova Shot Nurse clinic on Germantown Rd. Children in neighborhoods across the city missed shots this spring often because families were reluctant to go to hospitals and doctor’s offices. (Daily Memphian file)
