The new COVID-19 boosters are coming
The U.S. Food and Drug administration approved and authorized the new COVID-19 vaccines on Monday, Sept. 11, and the Centers for Disease Control’s immunization advisory committee on Tuesday, Sept. 12, recommended the shot to anyone age six months and older. (Ted S. Warren/AP file)
The FDA says it’s confident in the safety and effectiveness of the updated COVID-19 vaccines and that the benefits outweigh their risks.
