Head of Regional One advocates for academic medical center
“A building doesn’t make it an academic medical center; it’s all the things that you put in the building,” Regional One Health Dr. Reginald Coopwood said at the Rotary Club luncheon on Tuesday, April 23. “But you also need a building to make that happen.” (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian)
Dr. Reginald Coopwood continues his community outreach to drum up support for transforming Shelby County’s public hospital into an academic medical center in partnership with UTHSC.
