UTHSC honors Church Health’s Scott Morris for service to Memphis
“I have a great professional and personal privilege, and that is to recognize a remarkable health care leader — not just in Memphis, but a leader for this state — who wears his passion for healthcare right on his sleeve,” said UTHSC Chancellor Dr. Peter Buckley (left) about Dr. Scott Morris (right). “And he has given his all.” (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian)
Morris recently stepped down as CEO of Church Health, the nonprofit he founded 36 years ago to provide affordable health care for uninsured and underserved Memphians.
