VA Medical Center chief talks upgrades to Memphis facility: ‘Veterans deserve the best’
A little more than six months into his role as executive director and CEO of the Memphis VA Medical Center, Edward Payton is knee deep in planning and projects.
Earlier this year, U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen announced $8.3 million in federal money, meant to help with various projects at Lt. Col. Luke Weathers Jr. (Memphis) VA Medical Center’s campus in the Medical District.
All of the projects are vital for patient care, Payton said.
